China is a real threat?

I saw a post stating that China is a threat to world peace presumably because of its growing power. This must be coming from the west and people who believe that kind of propaganda. Personally, I think the USA is more dangerous than China. America's history as a world power, that is, since WWII, is replete of military incursions into foreign lands. China, on the hand, has had a comparatively very peaceful coexistence with its neighbors. And it has been a great power for far much longer than any other country in the world.

Historically, China has used trade as its main foreign policy weapon, unlike the West which primarily uses military might.

Yes. This is excellent news. We want to rise with the dragon! Seriously, our people and China have always had a good relationship for a millennium? now which has been beneficial to both the Chinese and the Filipino. And there is the fact that it is inevitable that China regain its primacy in trade and regional, if not world, politics. America is OK, but China is even better. None of that constant and indiscriminate bombing, war freak thing that seems to be as American as apple pie.

May nag-dispute na nito. Kahit na... nakakagulat pa rin. Many Filipinos actually share the same perception.
